Rowing

We are students from AAU and UCN who gather in everyday life and row out on the fjord. Here you have the opportunity to become part of a strong community, where the focal point is training, study and camaraderie. By becoming part of Universitetsroning Aalborg, you can get aalborg to see from its best side, namely from the fjord, get some fresh air, train your body and have fun.

We do caproning, which means rowing at the competition level. We train up for regattas, championships, etc. around Denmark and also abroad. Even though we train in racing boats, everyone can join in as it is a versatile sport.

There are no requirements for physics, previous rowing experience or great ambition. University queening is for anyone who wants to try something new, both for exercisers and for those who want to win medals.

Practical information

- It is possible to change and have breakfast in the rowing club after training with other university rowers.
- We recommend tight-fitting clothing. Loose-fitting jacket/shirt is NOT suitable for rowing. You need tracksuits to be both inside and outside, as the weather dictates whether we row outside. Rain is not usually an obstacle to outdoor rowing, but strong winds or currents are.
